Bagley Mountain is in Shasta Trinity National Forest. The trail to Bagley Mountain can be accessed from Fenders Ferry road which is off of Highway 299. The trail to the top of Bagley Mountain from Fenders Ferry road has some intermediate spots that can be narrow and does require 4 wheel drive with a few technical spots. Once you're to the top of Bagley Mountain there is a beautiful 360 degree view. The approximate elevation is 4,367 feet. There are many trails in the area which can make this a day trip or overnight trip as there are several areas to camp. In the area there are a few local camp grounds (Madrone and Chirp Chatter). These camp grounds are dry camp grounds with vault toilets, near the Sqaw Creek and have beautiful views. Fishing is also a great activity along this creek.
